GALANTHUS (snowdrop) in growth

GALANTHUS (snowdrop) in growth

(Snowdrops -in growth) We pride ourselves on our collection of Snowdrops, which is one of the widest to be found in the trade. It is well known to be another plant which resents being dried out and, therefore, prefers to be moved in full growth in the spring. Our bulbs are lifted daily so they spend the minimum of time out of the ground.

Plant the bulbs, preferably in small clumps, 3" to 4" deep and 3" apart under ornamental trees and shrubs. In light or sandy soil it is advisable to dig in some good loam; in a very heavy soil dig in a little peat or leaf mould and sand. Divide regularly. They are not happy grown in pots.

Our rarer varieties will be added as they become available in February.
