NERINE " HERA"
This delightful late flowering Nerine is virtually evergeen with narrow green leaves and is reasonably hardy . It is wrongly named but until we find a definitive name for this plant we will stick with what we have always called it. It has beautiful compact heads of rich pink flowers. It increasing well. Late flowering so best under glass but does well outside here. Rather like a taller, intense pink N. flexuosa. Hardy in sheltered areas and excellent in pots increasing rapidly. A very pretty plant.

Award of Garden Merit Autumn lily. This very fine form of the popular autmn flowering nerine has heads of bright cerise pink trumpet flowers dusted with silver. Similar in coulur to Zeal Giant but with smaller heads. Earlier flowering than the type. The bulbs should be planted in a sunny position where they can be left undisturbed to make large patches. NERINE BOWDENII WELLSII
We can spare a few of this distinct nerine. From seed originally collected from high in the Drakensberg mountains of SAfrica. This is the first to flower, usually with the leaves still present. Large heads of a good pink with well crisped margins. Dry sunny situation.

NERINE ELEGANCE 'Pearls of Cherries'
This is a magnificent new hybrid, like so many, bred for the cut flower industry. Huge 12in heads of deep salmon-pink flowers on very stiff stems. Hardy in a sheltered position , it almost certainly has some N.sarniensis or N.curvifolium blood, it is fabulous grown in a large pot under cold glass and spectacular as a cut flower. It grows well ourside with us but an early frost will damage the flowers.

NERINE ZEAL GIANT
Huge 12" heads of up to 18 strident salmon-pink flowers. The largest and showiest of the nerines.Although it has N.sarniensis blood it seems hardy against a sunny wall, clumping up well. It is similar to Elegance but flowers much earlier and a different shade of pink.
