At last we have enough of this dramatic bulb to sell. They have large pleated leaves and a spectacular towering spike of almost black flowers. They need a rich soil in sun or part shade with plenty of moisture. Leave them undisturnbed for best results. They may take a season or two to settle.  A tru architectural plant for the middle of a border. Fabulous with red roses etc.
