This is one of the most striking of the summer flowering pineapple flowers and outstanding in the recent RHS trial.Spectacular and long lasting heads of deep pink flowers from dark buds. One of the best new cultivars. It is  fully hardy for a sunny bed in full sun.  Winter dormant. Pot grown plants should be kept  dry in winter - the back of a garage or under the greenhouse staging is perfect,  In the open ground plant the bulbs at least 20cm deep in a well drained soil in full sun.
